Nighttime car wreck in Tennessee leaves several injured

Intersections are notoriously the spot of many accidents, whether they result from inattentiveness or disregard for signs and lights. Whenever cars collide in a car wreck at an intersection, there may be an investigation into what exactly occurred. A recent car wreck in Tennessee resulted in multiple people needing medical attention.

The accident between two vehicles occurred on a Wednesday night at an intersection in Tennessee. The victims involved in the car accident needed to be extracted from the cars involved, according to emergency personnel responding to the scene. Five ambulances were also needed at the scene of the crash.

A 25-year-old victim and a 22-year-old victim were taken by ambulance to the same medical facility, but one of these individuals was later transported to another hospital. A third car accident victim was also taken by ambulance to a hospital. The fourth victim needed to be flown from the scene of the crash and was apparently in critical condition.

While there is no word yet as to whether or not any party is culpable, if one driver is found to be at fault for the car wreck, then that person may be held liable. Whenever someone is injured in a Tennessee car accident and another is shown to be at fault, the victim may be able to pursue damages through a civil complaint. There are times when a successful civil complaint results in compensation that helps the victims contend with medical bills, lost wages and other expenses related to the car wreck.
