Driver Fatigue Contributed to Injury to Comedian Tracy Morgan and Death of Another Person in Fatal Car Crash

Over the weekend comedian Tracy Morgan was critically injured in an automobile accident when a tractor trailer owned by retail giant Walmart collided with multiple vehicles. Another comedian was killed in the accident. Early reports state that the driver of the Walmart tractor trailer had not slept in over 24 hours. This is obviously in violation of Department of Transportation safety rules. The driver of the tractor trailer has been charged in New Jersey with Death by Auto and four counts of Assault by Auto. Walmart has already gone on the record stating that they will take full responsibility.

Driver fatigue is a leading cause of many car wrecks and tractor trailer accidents. Be sure to take breaks frequently when you drive long distances. If you or someone you know has been injured or killed in a car wreck involving driver fatigue, call the attorneys at the Gold Law Firm and get the compensation you deserve.
