Passenger dies in Tennessee car wreck

Being the passenger in a car can be nerve-racking and can also be dangerous while out on the road. The simple act of not having any control over the vehicle or the actions of the driver can make anyone feel vulnerable. Recently in Tennessee, a passenger lost his life in a car wreck as the driver somehow failed to maintain control of the vehicle.

The car accident happened during the day as an unnamed driver was behind the wheel of a car. For some unknown reason, the car left the roadway. It then struck a wall of a garage. The passenger was thrown from the car.

The passenger happened to be the son and brother of a mother and daughter who are known in the area for their role on the reality show "Survivor." He died as a result of his injuries after being taken to a nearby hospital. The driver suffered minor injuries and was also transported to the hospital. The car accident is currently under investigation.

Anytime a passenger is killed, an investigation may pinpoint the cause of the car accident. If the driver was under the influence or was otherwise negligent at the time of the car accident, there may be cause for a civil suit in a Tennessee civil court. When a family seeks damages or a settlement in a civil court, they may find a successful case can help them deal with the aftermath of the car wreck and the loss of a loved one. Monetary damages could help cover the costs of medical care and also funeral costs that the family must now contend with.
