Man charged after second car wreck

Some people may simply have very bad luck when it comes to being involved in car accidents. However, it seems there may be more to it for one man who has found himself involved in yet his second car wreck this summer. After the latest incident, the man behind the wheel now faces criminal charges in Tennessee. The latest car wreck with this particular driver involved him driving a rental car into a house. There was reportedly damage to the foundation. He faces a charge of reckless driving for that crash. The man who owns the home that was hit contends police have cause to think a medical problem was the reason the man hit his house. While no one was injured in that particular crash, the earlier summer crash left a man critically injured. The man crossed lanes of traffic and hit a gas pump. An explosion occurred and led to the serious third degree burn injuries sustained by a man at the scene. Police are seeking to have the driver tested to see if he should keep a driver's license. While it remains to be seen if a medical issue or some other issue is to blame for the two car accidents that occurred with this individual behind the wheel, the man injured in the first car wreck may have a long road ahead of him dealing with burn injuries. Anyone injured or burned in a car wreck caused by the recklessness or negligence of another may be able to pursue a personal injury claim against that driver. A civil suit in a Tennessee civil court may garner monetary damages for car wreck victims caused by the negligence of another party so they can deal with medical bills or lost wages.
