Tennessee car wreck injures 1, kills another

Anytime there is a deadly crash, there may have to be an investigation to discovery exactly what happened. Recently in Tennessee, a deadly car wreck took the life of one person and left another person injured. Several units of assisting authorities had to respond to the scene.

According to authorities, the wreck involved a red pick-up truck and also a white car. When authorities made it to the scene, they discovered one person was actually pinned and that person needed to be airlifted from the scene to a medical facility. The other person was deceased and had to be removed from the accident scene.

A volunteer emergency squad and also a fire department responded to the accident scene to render assistance. There was no word on the ages of either the injured victim or the deceased person. There was also no word on what kind of injuries were sustained or if anyone involved in the accident would face any kind of charges.

It is vital for investigators to piece together exactly what happened and who may be at fault anytime there is a fatal car wreck. If one party is shown to be negligent or to have acted recklessly, the person who may have been injured may be able to pursue a civil suit against the reckless party. If someone died as a result of a reckless driver, the family of the deceased may be able to also pursue a claim for damages in a Tennessee civil court. Those damages may help the injured or those left behind deal with lost wages, medical expenses or even funeral costs.
